This is the seventh book in the Henry Wright Mystery Series. Henry, is a retired chief of police from a small town in northern Wisconsin. He is living quietly in Palm Springs in a mid-century home with his roommate Charles Knightly.

Henry is happy as he and his fiancee marry in his backyard and they head off for a well deserved honeymoon in Europe. He plans to visit some police colleagues at Interpol in London, the  Nationale Gendarmerie in Paris, and the Rijkspolitie in Amsterdam.

His unique ability at profiling victims is used by his friend Hans Brummer and his short stay in The Netherlands is more than Mr. and Mrs. Wright bargained for.
