Mystery on the Tramway, is the third book in a series of Henry Wright Mysteries by DesertDreaming. This book once again features Henry Wright, a retired police chief from Eagle River Wisconsin, who retired to Palm Springs after the death of his wife. In this mystery, Wayne Johnson, a captain of detectives in the Palm Springs police department, asks Henry for help in solving a mystery at the world famous Palm Springs tramway. The last tram of the day comes down from San Jacinto Mountain and inside is the tramway’s maintenance man with a bullet in his head. There is no weapon, no hole in the gondola and apparently no way that the victim was shot. Henry sets about unraveling this mystery while trying to entertain his lady friend Gloria McCann who is spending the Independence Day holiday with him in Palm Springs.
